Hospice of Washington County, Inc. is proud to offer several fund raising events for the community to support, participate in and remember loved ones.
Join us for the 3rd Annual Christopher Lewis Duck Pin Bowling Tournament on Sunday, September 15, 2013. Register a team of four for only $25. Fee includes 3 games, shoes and snacks for each person on your team. Prizes are awarded for best team score, best individual score, etc. Raise funds and received incentive prizes and trophy’s for top fund raising team and top individual fund raiser. All proceeds from this event support The Jennifer Fund at Hospice of Washington County and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The Jennifer Fund supports the pediatric patents and their families being serviced by Hospice of Washington County. Make-A-Wish granted Chris’s wish to meet Brooks & Dunn. Remember Chris and celebrate one of his favorite past-times – Duck Pin Bowling!
Spring will be here before we know it and the HWC Spring 5K is sure to be an event that you don’t want to miss. Whether you want to walk with friends or run for a trophy…the HWC 5K is one to put on your calendar now. Those wishing to walk or run to remember loved ones have the opportunity to raise funds and earn a special race day shirt with the name of their loved one printed on back. Other fundraising incentive prizes will also be offered. Those wishing to raise funds also have the unique opportunity to create their own fundraising website to e-mail to friends or post on their facebook pages. Join us on April 20th at Halfway Park.

Hospice of Washington County is thrilled to be bringing Grammy Nominated Singer / Songwriter, Karen Taylor-Good back to Hagerstown for the 3rd consecutive year.
Her songs and music help to inspire and educate the community about the unique services that Hospice of Washington County Provides. The 2013 event is one you won’t want to miss. Mark your calendars now and plan to join us on November 12 at Cortland Mansion. New this year, Karen will be performing a duet with Hagerstown’s own Kelly Wright! If you were at the 2012 event and saw their impromptu performance – you know how spectacular this is going to be. 370 names were read aloud on December 2nd at the City Park Lighting as part of the Pathways of the Heart Luminary Project. Hospice of Washingotn County was honored to participate in this for the second year in a row and thanks the City of Hagerstown for the opportunity. We look forward to hnoring and remembering your loved ones once again in 2012.
