Loss of Child Grief Support Group (Adults)

Hospice of Washington County Bereavement Care Department is continuing their support group for those who have experienced the loss of a child. This program is run by Stephanie one time a month on the second Monday of each month starting in January from 3:30 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. This group will meet at the HWC Main Office in the Conference Room.  Adults who have experienced a loss of child are invited to come together to find connection, understanding, and hope through shared experience.

Hearts of Hope (Evening Meeting)

Hearts of Hope is an ongoing open grief support group for any adult who is grieving the death of a loved one. This group meets every month routinely on the following days: 1st and 3rd Mondays (daytime, 10:30 AM - 12 Noon), as well as 2nd and 4th Thursdays (evening, 5:30 PM - 7 PM). For more information, please call our office at 301-791-6360 or email Maria Reed at mdreed@hospiceofwc.org. PLEASE NOTE: Hearts of Hope (Evening Meeting) will not meet Thanksgiving Day (November 28th).

Stepping Stones: An Introduction to Grief Support for Bereaved Adults

Taking the first steps into grief support after the loss of a loved one can be very difficult. Stepping Stones is intended to serve as an introductory to grief support services for adults who have experienced recent loss. Adult Social Brunch

The Social Brunch is an opportunity for adults to informally socialize and dine with others who understand and respect your grief journey. Cherished Memories: Coping with Grief During the Holidays for Children & Families

Children and families who have experienced the death of a loved one or friend are invited to attend this event. This free support event will include story time, crafts, and resources on coping with the holidays. Hosted in partnership with Washington County Free Library. Event will be held in the Children's Department (Story Room).
