Camp will be held at Cornerstone Community Church,
20519 Beaver Creek Road, Hagerstown, MD 21742.
Camp Hope ‘N’ Cope is a special camp, designed for children who have experienced the death of a loved one or significant loss. Camp Hope ‘N’ Cope is an educational, nurturing, and safe place for children to talk with one another and to learn effective, practical skills for coping with their grief.
Check in time is 8:30 am at the host facility (Cornerstone Community Church, 20519 Beaver Creek Road, Hagerstown, MD 21740).
Camp ends at 7:00 pm, but we invite parents/guardians and campers to stay from 7:00-9:00 pm to watch the movie CoCo that we will be showing (this invite will be open to the community as well). If you choose to not stay for the movie, you can pick up your child and leave at 7:00 pm. If you choose to stay, please plan to bring pillows, blankets, yoga mats, or anything to make yourself comfortable during the movie. Snacks will be provided.
CAMP ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: Group Activities, Sharing, Games, Music, Crafts, a Movie, a Memorial Ceremony, and more.

Please note that we are looking for adult volunteers for the camp as well. All necessary training will be provided to you.
