Have Breakfast with Hospice of Washington County

Hospice of Washington County Inc. (HWC) is hosting a breakfast at the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM. The breakfast is an informational session for interested business members and community residents to learn more about the nonprofit, and it is a kick-off to HWC’s newly created Corporate Redwood Society. The event is being sponsored by Keller Stonebraker Insurance and M.S. Johnston Company.

“This distinguished society is being created to recognize
our strong network of community-minded businesses, corporation, and foundation donors,” stated Tom Newcomer, HWC Board Member, Past Chair and Chair of the Corporate Giving Committee. “We have also created a number of ways to recognize businesses who join and how these members can partner with Hospice of Washington County.”

HWC is committed to serving our community by empowering patients and families to provide quality end-of-life care and grief support for those coping with a life- changing loss. “At the breakfast, business members and individuals will meet the team and volunteers of HWC and hear the hospice story,” stated Karen Giffin, Senior Director of Development and PR. “Also, we will provide information on Doey’s House, which is the first hospice house in Washington County and future plans for our organization.”

Giffin went on to state that attendees will find out how they can be part of the important mission of HWC. “We encourage business members and individuals to attend this event to enjoy a great breakfast at the beautiful Washington County Museum of Fine Arts in City Park, while simultaneously learning about HWC and its programs.”

Individuals who are interested in attending the breakfast can call HWC’s Senior Director of Development and Public Relations, Karen Giffin at 301-791-6360 or email kmgiffin@ hospiceofwc.org.
