Have Breakfast with Hospice of Washington County

(Hagerstown, MD) – Hospice of Washington County Inc. (HWC) is hosting a breakfast at the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts on Wednesday, June 14, 2017 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. The breakfast is an information session for interested business members and community residents to learn more about the nonprofit.

HWC is committed to serving our community by empowering patients and families to provide quality end-of-life care and grief support for those coping with a life-changing loss. In the last three years, HWC has served 50% of the deaths in Washington County.

“At the breakfast, business members and individuals will meet the team and volunteers of HWC and hear the hospice story,” stated Karen Giffin, Senior Director of Development, Community and PR. “Also, we will be giving an update on the progress of Doey’s House which is the first hospice house in Washington County.”

Giffin went on to state that attendees will find out how they can be part of the important mission of HWC.

“We encourage business members and individuals to attend this event to enjoy a great breakfast at the beautiful Washington County Museum of Fine Arts in City Park, while simultaneously learning about HWC and its programs,” concluded Giffin.

Individuals who are interested in attending the breakfast can call HWC’s Senior Director of Development, Community and Public Relations, Karen Giffin at 301-791-6360 or email kmgiffin@hospiceofwc.org.
