Shred Event 2023
Hospice of Washington County's Shred Event of 2023 will be held on Saturday, June 10th, from 9 AM-12 PM at the HWC Main Office.
This year is a little different, we are accepting old medications and old electronics (e-waste) on top of paper and documents this year. Come out and shred your papers & donate to our Charity Care Fund!
A donation of $10 is suggested per paper box and a donation of $10 is suggested per electrical item.

Paper materials ARE allowed to have staples, rubber bands, and/or paper clips. Paper material must not have a binding or spiral.
We ask that anyone bringing medication in for disposal to leave the pills in bottles (do not put them into plastic bags); and any sharps must be in a sharps container. Identifying information should be removed.
Electronics accepted: Computers and Laptops, Keyboard and Mice, Servers and Mainframes, Routers, Hubs, Switches, Cisco Equipment, Tape Drives and Hard Drives, Printers and Copiers, Cell Phones, Smart Phones, PDAs, Tablets, Wire, Test Equipment, Bar Coding Equipment and Point of Sale Equipment, UPS Backup Systems, Communication Equipment, Medical Equipment, and Radios.
Electronics unaccepted: Alkaline Batteries, Ink/Toner Cartridges, CRTs, CRT Monitors, Tube TVs, and Projection TVs
All Hard Drives are to be shredded after drop off.
