Soaring Doves Teen Program

The Hospice of Washington County bereavement department will be hosting a Soaring Doves Teen Program in partnership with the Hagerstown YMCA.

Though experiencing a death can be a life-changing event for anyone, adolescence is a crucial period of development. Our Teen Program is designed to meet the unique needs of those 13-18 years of age who have experienced the death of a loved one. 

The program incorporates a variety of free social outings and expressive arts-based workshops in order to meet a wide range of teens’ interests, skills, comfort levels, and communication styles. Connect with others who get it, and learn practical skills in coping with your grief and loss. 

We will be utilizing the pool and having pizza during this session.
*Please bring a swim suit and towel if your teen would like to swim*
