Hearts of Hope is an ongoing open grief support group for any adult who is grieving the death of a loved one. This group meets every month routinely on the following days: 1st and 3rd Mondays (daytime, 10:30 AM - 12 Noon), as well as 2nd and 4th Thursdays (evening, 5:30 PM - 7 PM). This program is a NEW opportunity for grieving families to connect with other grieving families. Like walking along a path in the outdoors, grief is a journey taken one step at a time. HWC welcomes you to join us on May 20th, June 24th, July 29th, and August 19th at the Hagerstown YMCA to participate in helping you to put one foot in front of the other, literally and figuratively, allowing nature to connect and ground you to the present—as you remember, feel, and grieve.

Our Teen Program is designed to meet the unique needs of those 13-18 years of age who have experienced the death of a loved one.

Hospice of Washington County Bereavement Care Department is continuing their support group for those who have experienced the loss of a child. This program is run by Stephanie one time a month on the second Monday of each month from 3:30 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. This group will meet at the HWC Main Office in the Conference Room. Adults who have experienced a loss of child are invited to come together to find connection, understanding, and hope through shared experience.
