Service of Remembrance Winter 2023

Hospice of Washington County and Franklin Hospice invite you and your family to join us for a Service of Remembrance honoring the memory of Hospice family members who died between May 1, 2023 and October 31, 2023. The Service of Remembrance will be held on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 5:30 p.m. at the Lifehouse Church (Auditorium) 515 E. Hearts of Hope (Franklin Hospice)

Hearts of Hope (Franklin Hospice) is an ongoing open grief support group beginning May 4th, 2023, for any adult who is grieving the death of a loved one. This group meets routinely on the first Thursday of the month from 2 PM until 3 PM. This group is available in hybrid format. Caregiver Support Group - December

A brand new support group offered by the Hospice of Washington County. Caregiver Support Group is an opportunity to meet with other caregivers to share ideas/feelings, obtain education and information, and increase coping skills related to the caregiver role. Hearts of Hope (Morning Meeting)

Hearts of Hope is an ongoing open grief support group for any adult who is grieving the death of a loved one. This group meets every month routinely on the following days: 1st and 3rd Mondays (daytime, 10:30 AM - 12 Noon), as well as 2nd and 4th Thursdays (evening, 5:30 PM - 7 PM). Lights For Love & Memorial Walk 2023

Hospice of Washington County is holding the Sixth Annual Doey’s House Lights For Love Event and Memory Walk on Sunday, December 3, 2023. Individuals can honor and remember loved ones’ with luminaries placed around Doey’s House and walk in their loved ones’ honor or have a volunteer walk in their honor. The funds raised through this event will support Hospice of Washington County’s Benevolence Program.

Seasons of Grief: Creative Workshop Series for Adults Coping with Loss - November

This workshop series is open for older teens and adults who are grieving the loss of a loved one. The workshop will explore creative ways to cope with loss, and memorialize our loved ones. There is no cost to attend and participate. You are invited to bring pictures of your loved one, as well as pieces of your loved one's clothing (that you are willing to modify and use for various seasonal memorial crafts) to the workshop.

Stepping Stones: A Support Group for Newly Bereaved Adults

Taking the first steps into grief support after the loss of a loved one can be very difficult. This monthly group is intended to serve as an introductory to grief support services for adults who have experienced a loss within the past 6 months. The purpose of this group is to provide information and resources related to the grieving process & connect with others who have experienced a recent loss. Adult Social Brunch

The Social Brunch is an opportunity for adults to informally socialize and dine with others who understand and respect your grief journey.
