Have a Heart for Hospice Radiothon

WJEJ Radio 1240 and Lou Scally will be back at Hospice of Washington County’s (HWC) office at 747 Northern Avenue on Saturday, February 15, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. for the 7th Annual “Have A Heart for Hospice” Radio-Thon. The proceeds will support the Doey’s House Ventilator Patient Oxygen Support Service Project. The number to call is 301-791-6927.

Celebrations: Celebrity Waiter Gala

ANOTHER COURSE FOR CELEBRATIONS   Hospice of Washington County (HWC) put the “fun” in fundraiser last year with the inaugural new unique event entitled Celebrations, and it was so successful we have decided to make it an annual event. The feature of the festivities is a Celebrity Waiter Gala and Auction. Celebrations is really 20 to 30 dinner parties occurring within the larger event. Guests treat themselves to a tasty dinner as they socialize with old friends and make new ones.

Bereavement Camp for Children slated for Oct. 12, 2019   Love, Laughter and Leisure are the basic needs of all children, especially those who have experienced the death of a loved one.  Hospice of Washington County’s DoveTales is a camp experience designed to pair children who are grieving with adults who can offer support and guidance.
