Hearts of Hope (Franklin Hospice)

Hearts of Hope (Franklin Hospice) is an ongoing open grief support group beginning May 4th, 2023, for any adult who is grieving the death of a loved one. This group meets routinely on the first Thursday of the month from 2 PM until 3 PM. This group is available in hybrid format. Loss of Child Grief Support Group (Adults)

Hospice of Washington County Bereavement Care Department is continuing their support group for those who have experienced the loss of a child. This program is run by Stephanie one time a month on the second Monday of each month starting in January from 3:30 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. This group will meet at the HWC Main Office in the Conference Room.  Adults who have experienced a loss of child are invited to come together to find connection, understanding, and hope through shared experience.

Teen Grief Gathering Workshop

Teen Grief Gathering is for Teens (ages 13-19) who are dealing with the death of a friend or family member. Connect with others who get it, and learn practical skills in coping with your grief and loss. Drop in and join us for creative expression and conversations.  Teen Grief Gathering is hosted in collaboration with the Young Adult department of Washington County Free Library Friday, March 10th, 2023 (WCPS Early Dismissal Day)2-4 PM

Cherished Memories: Helping Children & Families Cope with the Death of a Loved One

Children and families who have experienced the death of a loved one or friend are invited to attend this event. This free support event will include story time, crafts, and resources on coping with the death of a loved one. Hosted in partnership with Washington County Free Library. Event will be held in the Children's Department (Story Room).

Hearts of Hope is an ongoing open grief support group for any adult who is grieving the death of a loved one. This group meets every month routinely on the following days: 1st and 3rd Mondays (daytime, 10:30 AM - 12 Noon), as well as 2nd and 4th Thursdays (evening, 5:30 PM - 7 PM). This group is now available in hybrid format. You are welcome to join on Zoom, or you can join us in person at Doey's House 11370 Caring Pathway Lane, Hagerstown 21742.
