Washington County Gives

On Tuesday, May 7, 2019, individuals can help Doey’s House, HWC’s Children’s Bereavement Camp and all Hospice of Washington County’s programs and services during Washington County Gives, a 24-hour online giving event. On this day, every donation Hospice of Washington County (HWC) receives will help HWC claim matching dollars and possible prizes to continue giving back to the Washington County community.

Belk Charity Sale

Donate, Save, and Feel Good! Hospice of Washington County (HWC) is participating in Belk’s Charity Sale Event on Saturday, May 4th from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm at the Valley Mall in Hagerstown. It is their effort to “Share the Love” by supporting local non-profits and their communities.

Business Breakfast

Have Breakfast with Hospice of Washington County!   On Thursday, May 2nd from  8:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. at the Washington County Museum of Fine Arts, HWC will be holding their annual Business Breakfast. Survivors of Suicide Support Group

This group is a 6-week closed group for any adult who has experienced the suicide death of a loved one.   Group sessions will be held on Wednesday nights from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. on April 3rd, April 10th, April 17th, April 24th, May 1st, May 8th 2019.

Spring Paint Night

Join Hospice of Washington County as we kick off the spring season with a paint night! This event will be held at The Artists at the Factory, 22 N. Mulberry St. Suite 12. There are two nights you can sign up for, Tuesday, April 16th and Thursday, April 25th at 7:00 p.m. Light snacks will be provided. It's $40 per painter. Seats are limited. There are only 15 spots per night! Proceeds go toward the Hospice of Washington County Endowment Fund.

Hearts of Hope

These are on-going, open support groups, available to any adult who has experienced the death of a loved one. The group meets the first and third Monday of each month from 10:30am.-12:00 noon and second and fourth Thursday of each month from 5:30-7:00p.m.

Hearts of Hope - Online

Hospice of Washington County (HWC) is continuing to serve the community with Bereavement Services. HWC will host the Hearts of Hope Group via Zoom (an online video chat platform). Hearts of Hope is an on-going, open support group available to any adult who has experienced a death of a loved one.
